Prayer of St. Thomas
ineffable Creator, who from the treasures of your wisdom have taken the three hierarchies Angels, you've placed with wonderful order over the empyrean and you prepared with the utmost accuracy throughout the universe, You who are celebrated as true Source of Light and Wisdom, and the supreme principle of all things, deign to give over the darkness of my mind, the radius of your clarity , freeing the two dark where I was born: sin and ignorance.
You who make eloquent language degl'infanti, instruct my tongue and pour into my lips the grace of your blessing. Give me the sharpness of intelligence, memory capacity, the manner and ease of learning, insight, interpretation, the abundant gift of speech. You have the beginning, direct the conduct and bring me up to the age: You who are true God and man, who live and reign forever and ever . Amen.
